MFS regularly performs an FPI. FPI is just one of the common types of NDT (Non Destructive Testing) used in the industry. With FPI a fluorescent dye is applied to the surface of the gas turbine parts in order to detect any possible defects that may compromise the integrity or quality of the part in question. We perform these inspections on all different types of Aeroderivative and Heavy Duty gas turbines.
